Cleaning
Oral exams play an important part in preventive dental care. During your visit, our hygienists will clean and floss your teeth, and screen for oral cancer, gum disease and bone loss. We evaluate your risk for tooth decay and discuss proper brushing and flossing techniques to ensure you maintain optimal dental health.
Crowns
A crown is a tooth-shaped cap used to completely cover a tooth when its ongoing health is at risk. We create the crown in our office using a digital chairside impressioning system. This system allows us to match the exact shape and size of your existing tooth. In most cases, we can complete the entire procedure in just one appointment.
Sealants
A sealant is a plastic coating that is applied to teeth to help prevent tooth decay. Sealants are most commonly applied to molar teeth, but can be used to protect any tooth that is susceptible to decay from bacteria.
Fillings
A filling is necessary to repair and protect a tooth that has been damaged by decay. During a filling procedure, we remove the decay, clean the infected area and add a filling material to the cleaned out cavity. You have the option to choose between silver-colored (amalgam) fillings or tooth-colored (composite) fillings.
